1) ND (ca. 1795). Middlesex. Lutwyche's Copper 1/2 penny Token. Nearly Extremely Fine. D&H-1037.

2) ND (ca. 1795). Middlesex. Lutwyche's Copper 1/2 Penny Token. Choice Very Fine. D&H-1039a.

3) 1976, Wedgewood Ceramic Oval Medal. Choice Mint State.

Made famous by Josiah Wedgwood, or the eponymous ceramic manufactory, the 'am I not a man and a brother' imagery that became famous on trade tokens of the late 18th century also appeared in oval Wedgwood medallions for wearing supporters of the cause of abolition. In addition to two of the aforementioned trade tokens, this lot also contains a modern Wedgwood issue of the white and black design in ceramic.
