THESSALY, Thessalian League. Late 2nd-mid 1st century BC. Drachm (Silver, 22 mm, 5.98 g, 1 h), struck under the magistrates Androsthenes and Aristokles. Laureate head of Zeus to right; behind head, Ε[ΠΙ] ΑΝ[ΔΡΟ]/ΣΘΕΝΟΥΣ. Rev. ΘΕΣΣΑ / ΛΩΝ Athena Itonia striding right, hurling spear with her right hand and extending shield in her left; above spear, Α-ΡΙΣ; in field to left and right, ΤΟ-ΚΛ/ΗΣ. Cf.
