EUBOIA. Chalkis. Circa 338-308 BC. Drachm (Silver, 15.5 mm, 3.40 g, 6 h). Head of the nymph Chalkis to right, wearing pendant earring and pearl necklace. Rev. X-AΛ Eagle flying upwards with open wings, pecking at snake held in its talons; to right, laurel leaf. BCD Euboia 129. Picard Em. 5 (dies 3/b). HGC 4, 1463. Well centered and lightly toned. Light porosity. Very fine.
