EUBOIA. Karystos. Circa 235-200 BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 6.89 g, 1 h). Male head to right, wearing laureate diadem. Rev. KAPYΣTIΩN Nike driving galloping biga left, holding kentron and reins; trident head within wreath between Nike and horses, trident head within a wreath. BCD Euboia 581 (same obverse die). Wallace, Tyrant group 2 (Ob.VIII). Very rare type. Struck from slightly worn dies, otherwise, good very fine.
