ATTICA. Athens. Circa 449-404 BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 4.20 g, 8 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with olive leaves and an upwardly turned palmette. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right with head facing; to left, olive spray; all within incuse square. HGC 4, 1631. Kroll 10. Toned and with a rather bold obverse. Very fine.
