ATTICA. Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 33 mm, 16.93 g, 12 h), 165-150/49 BC. Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos. Rev. Α-ΘΕ Owl standing facing on amphora, flanked by AP and MAP monogram; below, in field to left, term of Hermes to left; Z on amphora's belly; the whole within olive wreath with ties below. HGC 4, 1602. Thompson 91a-c (same obverse die as 91a). Of good style. Some uncleaned deposits, and possibly overstruck, otherwise, good very fine.
