PONTOS. Amisos. Time of Mithradates VI Eupator, circa 85-65 BC. (Bronze, 23 mm, 12.59 g, 11 h). Head of Perseus to right, wearing Phrygian helmet decorated with stars. Rev. AMIΣOY Pegasos grazing to left; in left field and below, monograms. HGC 7, 239. SNG BM Black Sea 1217. Well-centered, well-struck and with an attractive green patina. Light porosity. Very fine.
