KINGS OF PERGAMON. Eumenes II, 197-159 BC. (31.5 mm, 16.96 g, 1 h), in the name and with the portrait of Philetairos, founder of the kingdom. Laureate head of Philetairos to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΕΤΑΙΡΟΥ Athena enthroned to left, crowning the royal name with a wreath in her right hand, resting her left hand on her lap, and her left elbow on a round shield; to outer left, stylis; to inner left, monogram (?) and I; in field to right, bow. Cf. SNG BN 1629-37 (field control). Minor porosity. Good very fine.
