TROAS. Abydos. Circa 350-325 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 14 mm, 2.48 g, 6 h), struck under the magistrate Anaxileos. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ABY ANAΞIΛΕΩΣ Eagle standing left; to left, grape bunch on vine. SNG Ashmolean 962. SNG von Aulock 1441. Light toning. Old scratches on obverse, minor porosity, otherwise, very fine.
