BRUTTIUM. Carthaginian occupation. Circa 216-211 BC. 3/8 Shekel (Electrum, 14 mm, 2.83 g, 12 h). Janiform female heads, each wearing grain ear wreath. Rev. Zeus, holding thunderbolt in his right hand and scepter in his left, standing in quadriga to right, driven by Nike, who stands beside him, holding the reins. Jenkins & Lewis, 487-493 (as Capua). HN III 2013. Robinson, Second pl. V.3 (as Capua). SNG ANS 146 (as Capua). SNG Copenhagen 357. Scratch on the obverse, and slightly off-center, otherwise, good very fine.
