BYZANTINE SEALS. Georgios, hypatos, Circa 7th century. Seal or Bulla (Lead, 19 mm, 14.30 g, 12 h). Θεοτόκε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλω 'Virgin Mary help your servant' in cruciform monogram. Rev. YΠ-Α/T-Ω around cruciform monogram of Georgios. Gray-green patina with light deposits. Extremely fine.
