Not much is known about Valerius Romulus, the oldest son of Maxentius. He was born circa in AD 292-295 and seems to have died when he was 14 years or older, after serving twice as consul together with his father, in AD 308 and AD 309. This young Caesar's death shattered his father's attempt at founding a dynasty.
