Modern Reproduction: Kingdom of Macedon, Alexander III 'the Great' AR Tetradrachm. "Light Thraco-Macedonian" standard 'Eagle series'. Uncertain Macedonian mint, circa 336-334 BC(?). Laureate head of Zeus to right / AΛEΞANΔPOY, eagle with closed wings standing to right on thunderbolt, head reverted; olive sprig to upper left, satrapal headdress to right. For prototype, cf.
