Three volumes, complete. 8vo, contemporary matching tan quarter calf with marbled sides; spines with four raised bands, ruled and decorated in gilt; two brown spine labels, gilt; marbled endpapers. (4), 226 + (4), 211 + (6), 325, (1) pages; 82 engraved plates in Volume I; size chart and 48 plates in Volume II (the majority being phototypes); 62 fine phototype plates in Volume III. First volume lacks pages 179–190 and Plates 72–75. Bindings a bit rubbed. Very good or better. A very rare compendium, with contributors including A. Brichaut, G. Cumont, A. de Witte, Ed. Laloire, and Victor Tourneur. Clain-Stefanelli 14434 (first two volumes). Grierson 266 (also first two volumes). Still important.
