MATTHEW BOULTON'S MEDAL ON THE RECONQUEST OF NAPLES IN 1799; AND ON CERTAIN EVENTS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, BY A BIRMINGHAM OBSERVER; ALSO OF LORD NELSON'S RECEPTION AT BIRMINGHAM IN 1802. Birmingham: Printed at the Assay Office, 1926. 4to, original tan crushed half morocco; upper cover and spine lettered in gilt; original printed card covers bound in. 15, (1) pages; double facsimile plate; 2 plates depicting medals. 8-page Supplement laid in. Signed by Mary A. Westwood on front card cover. Minimal spotting; light wear to binding. Still near fine. A specially bound copy of this scarce work, complete with the rare supplement. Westwood was the Assay Master at the Assay Office in Birmingham, and published an excellent catalogue of the Assay Office's extensive library, recently disbursed, in 1914 (see previous lot).
