Hiersemann, Karl W. COLLECTION BUHRIG-LEIPZIG. NAPOLÉON 1er ET SON TEMPS. Leipzig, 13–14 octobre 1913. 8vo, original printed paper covers. 93 pages; text illustrations; 11 plates, including frontispiece and on the inside back cover. Spine worn; some chipping to covers. Very good. The Hiersemann firm was a respected Leipzig bookselling company that issued a number of catalogues of numismatic books, but this is the first time we have handled a copy of this item, billed on the front cover as their "1ère vente publique." The fifth section covers "Médaillons, plaquettes, bustes, statuettes," while the sixth is devoted to "Médailles, monnaies, décorations d'honneur." While the collection included much besides numismatic objects, it illustrates several medals and medallions. Rare.
