Kraft, Raoul. KRAFT COLLECTION: LA RÉVOLUTION FRANÇAISE. 4to, modern brown cloth, gilt. An album of 38 color photographic prints bound in on hinges. A few inserts. Fine. According to Richard E. Margolis's handwritten note on the front flyleaf: "A collection of various items of the French Revolution-drawings, portrait miniatures, documents, medals, etc.-which Raoul C. Kraft (originally of Geneva, Switzerland, subsequently retired to Rolle) considered the 'cream' of his holdings & did not sell to Münzen und Medaillen in 1961 with the rest of his collection of coins, essays, medals, drawings & documents of the Revolution. Purchased (for 20,000 Swiss francs) from Mr. Kraft by Richard Margolis (Rolle, October 1978)."
