This reverse type originally issued on the 1973 coin, the Gold Piedfort coins specially struck dated 2009 for inclusion in the Fifty Pence 40th Anniversary set. With the extremely low mintage of 40 pieces, this type usually only available as part of the S.PG50PPCS Fifty Pence 40th Anniversary Set, a rare opportunity to purchase this rare type as a single coin.
