GAUL, Northeast. Treviri. Late 2nd-mid 1st century BC. AV Stater (16mm, 6.04 g, 9h). Celticized eye in profile; three stars to right, [pellets around] / Celticized horse prancing left; V-shaped ornament within outline of pellets above, pellet-in-annulet within pelleted circle below, [stars around]. Depeyrot, NC VII, 73; D&T 173 (Remi); Allen & Nash 247; Scheers 30; de la Tour 8799. Area of weak strike, light scratches. Good VF.
