Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; herm to outer left, monogram to inner left. Thompson –; Müller –; HGC 3, 1750b; Triton XXIV, lot 425 (same obv. die). Toned, rough surfaces, a couple of light scuffs on obverse. Near EF.
This coin is struck from the same obverse die as Triton XXIV, lot 426, an example of Thompson 58, securely placing the issue at Lampsakos.
