HUNNIC TRIBES, Kidarites. Uncertain ruler. Mid-late 5th century . AR Drachm (26mm, 3.87 g, 3h). Diademed bust right, wearing crown decorated with pellet-in-crescents and korymbos (or chakra); pseudo-legend around / Fire altar; flanked by two attendant; pseudo-legend at sides; khatala in Brahmi below altar. Cribb, Kidarites E3; Vondrovec [Göbl, Hunnen] Type 304. Traces of die rust, reverse double struck with worn die. VF. Rare.
