Anonymous. Circa 217-215 BC. Æ Semuncia (21.5mm, 6.48 g, 1h). Rome mint. Draped bust of Mercury right, wearing winged petasus / Prow of galley right. Crawford 38/7; Sydenham 87; RBW 101-2. Dark green and brown patina with earthen highlights/deposits in the devices, a few cleaning/smoothing scratches. VF. Lot includes Baldwin's envelope indicating it was purchased in 1989 for £40.
