Charles I (1625-1649), Halfcrown, Group IV, Tower (under King), Fourth horseman, 15.02g, 4h, m.m. triangle-in-circle (Spink 2779; North 2214; Brooker 372-76), irregular flan of full weight, toned with some striking flatness, almost very fine and surprisingly pleasing.
