William and Mary (1688-1694), Sixpence, 1693, conjoined laureate and draped busts right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, three strings to harp, date in two lines around Lion of Nassau, edge obliquely milled, 3.01g, 7h (Pywell-Phillips 152; ESC 869 {1529}; Spink 3438), an unfortunate minor flaw through DEI, otherwise richly toned and well defined albeit for striking softness below truncation, good very fine and quite handsome.
