France, Directoire, Decime, AN 7(1798-99), Mintmark W, Lille, head of La République in liberty cap left, rev. value, date and mintmark within wreath, corded edge (F 129), flan flaw, softly struck in parts as normal for type, number written in ink on reverse, but with a lovely, reddish lustre around the devices and much as struck.
