Irish Civil War (1689-1691), James II, 'Gunmoney', Large Halfcrown, February 1689, Dublin, pearled crown, cursive date, large fleuron JR, reads Feb:, 13.10g, 12h (Timmins TB30I-1C; Spink 6579K; Withers dies Feb16/18), slightly lacquered surfaces, otherwise patinated, a really bold fine / near very fine, evidently a very rare die pairing as only 2 recorded by Withers.
