Calendar year mintage 4,200,343
The calendar year mintage figure unfortunately provides no split between the first and second types for this year. It is well known that the first type for 1825 is very rare indeed, and must have only been produced up to, or around, Easter 1825 and accounts for a small fraction of the mintage for the calendar year.
