Anglo-Saxon England, Secondary Series (710-760), Sceat, Saltire standard, type 70, linear saltire with pellet ends, in beaded standard, pellet in each angle, tufa above, chevrons at other sides, diagonals to corners, rev. Beaded standard, with diagonal to each corner, containing mirrored angular symbols around central annulet, chevron left, cross pommée to other sides, 0.79g, 90° (SL 13-160; SCBI 69, 731 this coin; T&S pp. 532-4, 436-7; Gannon 175, Fig. 5.22; North 55; Spink 833B), good very fine and scarce.
