Anglo-Saxon England, Secondary Series (710-760), Sceat, Saltire standard, type 70, linear saltire with pellet ends in beaded standard, pellet in each angle, tufa above, row of three pellets below, cross to each side, beaded border, rev. degenerate beaded standard, central annulet, beaded inner border within beaded outer circle with four annulets, 1.01g (Hill variety a/b, SL 13-163; SCBI 69, 733 this coin; T&S pp. 532-4, 436-7; Gannon 175, Fig. 5.22; North 55; Spink 833B), slightly off-struck, otherwise toned and of good fabric, extremely fine, very rare.
