Anglo-Saxon England, Secondary Series (710-760), Sceat, Series K, type 16, 'Hwiccian style', diademed and bejewelled draped bust left, small eye, no ear, braided hair over neck, with three knotted wreath ties, cross pommée left, over chalice in palm, rev. standing figure in crescent boat, head left in cynehelm, holding long cross pommée with pellets on shaft left and bird of prey right, cross-hatched tabard and plain tunic, 1.01g, 180° (SL 33-90 plate coin; SCBI 69, 479 this coin; Spink 803F plate coin), some staining and surface porosity, otherwise a really bold very fine, and probably unique.
