Sea bird or eagle right, looking forward, leg spurs, splayed feet, triquetra above, pellet-filled field, 0.80g, 270° (SL 65-50 plate coin; SCBI 69, 645 this coin; T&S pp. 495-6, 386-7; Gannon 134, 151, no. 305, 191-2, and Figs. 4.7b, 4.30, 4.38a; MEC 8 Series Qc; North 139; Spink 810), well-centred on a dark but lightly porous flan, a bolder very fine and very rare.
