Greenland / Danish Administration 1804 P-A5 PMG Very Fine 25 6 Skilling
One of the earliest collectable banknotes from Greenland, now over 2 centuries old. A survey of auction records indicate just a few offerings at public auction over the last decade. The note itself is in circulated condition but problem-free, and does not show the ink burn on the signatures so often seen on these. Currency issuance in Greenland during the 19th century was sporadic and virtually all are rare to extremely rare in any grade.
