Louis XV gold Louis d'Or Mirliton 1724-K UNC Details (Saltwater Damage) NGC, Bordeaux mint, KM470.10, Gad-339. Large palms variety. Noticeable matte surfaces from water damage, with somewhat weak strike on the reverse. Likely from the 1725 Le Chameau shipwreck, though we have no documentation for this with the coin. Sold with old collector envelope detailing provenance.
