Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Hadrian, raising his right hand in salute and holding a scepter with his left, seated left on galley sailing left under direction of helmsman; vexillum on front deck, L I E (date) across upper field. Köln 1032; Dattari (Savio) 1582-3; K&G 32.513; RPC III 5785; Emmett 1127.15. Dark green to black patina with touches of red, roughness. Near VF.
