ILLYRIA, Apollonia, (mid-late 1st century B.C.), (3.88 g), obv. radiate crowned head of Apollo to left, quiver on back, magistrates names around ANTIOXOY TOY BAKXI**D*OY, rev. three nymphs dancing all heads to left, **A P O L* between nymphs, in exergue traces only **XENWN/ FILLOU*, (cf.S.1882, SNG Cop.404, Petranyi Class 2 (only type), HGC 3, 8). Surface roughness and knocks, otherwise very fine, very rare.
