Together with dog tag for Ingram R A, 2/4049; large photograph album containing unit colour patch, shoulder title and Cpl stripes (2 different lots), photos, souvenir 'Crossing the Line' certificate with many servicemens' signatures, postcards, maps, various military payment certificates and Japanese and Korean banknotes, magazine cuttings, Revist Korea tour brochure for veterans (2 different), and two booklets - Notes on ....The Chinese Communist Army, and Mines & Booby Traps used in Korea.

Group 1: Alwyn Ingram, farmer, age 18, born at Crabbes Creek, NSW; Enl.19Sep1922 at Burringbah, NSW in 15LHR, CMF; Re-Enl.10Aug1927 at Burringbah in CMF while at rank of Sgt in 15LHR; Appt'd Lieutenant 22Sep1928. WWII: Enl.12Feb1942 while serving in CMF (N2121) at Paddington, Sydney, NSW and allocated number NX88315; served with Pioneer Trg Bn, 2/1 Northern Australia Observer Unit, 40th Infy Bn at Darwin, Infantry Instructor at Seymour and later Bathurst with 14 Infy Trg Bn; Korea: served as WO II, Royal Aust Army Provost Corps mostly performing duties as WOII in charge of Barrack Detention Room or as RSM; Disch.08Jul1953 as Staff Sgt, HQ 1 Com Div Pro Coy.

Group 2: Roydon 'Roy' Alwyn Ingram, born 23Dec1930 at Murwillumbah, NSW; Corporal in RAInfy Corps; served in Korea with 1Bn, RAR 07Apr-29Nov1952.

With copy of Alwyn Ingram's Service File and group photo of 1 Platoon, A Coy, 3RAR that includes R.A.Ingram about a month before the Battle of Kapyong. There was another soldier, 2/400245 Pte Royden Ingram, who served with 3RAR and was killed at the Battle of Kapyong. Perhaps the group photo has incorrect naming details.
