JAPAN. 20 Yen, Year 6 (1917). Osaka Mint. Yoshihito (Taisho). PCGS MS-63 Prooflike.
Fr-53; KM-Y-40.2; JNDA-01-6. EXTREMELY RARE quality for a 20 Yen of any date, with surfaces that display extreme reflective characteristics that rival the quality often seen associated with proofs. Further in-depth inspection confirms this coin's magnificent quality, with sharp detail through the designs and very few instances of hard contact over the surfaces, which results in a decidedly premium appearance for the grade. A true prize for the collector, as it exists as the only example of the date to earn the "PL" designation at PCGS or NGC and is one of only 4 Taisho-era 20 Yen of all dates (with over 750 certified!) to have received it as well.

From the Pinnacle Collection.

Estimate: $4000.00- $8000.00
