KM-377.2; DP-Ca27. The finest graded at NGC. A lustrous coin with prooflike fields in the protected areas, the result of extensive die polishing. Several die cracks along with a bold die clash on the eagle side. Our first offering of this date since November 2010 (Ponterio sale 155, lot 6207).
All known examples have the 5/4 overdate, the result of an obverse hub recycled from the 1840's.
