CHINA. Brass 350 Yuan Pattern, 1981. NGC PROOF-63 Cameo.
KM-Unlisted. Diameter: 27mm. Bronze Age Discoveries. Type II. Rhinoceros. An EXTREMELY RARE and quite possibly UNIQUE pattern issue that emanates from a remarkable series of such patterns that we are offering for the first time. This represents the only such example seen at NGC, with none having been seen at PCGS. This design was ultimately selected for the gold 400 Yuan type struck later in 1981 (Fr-10; KM-48). Some lightly scattered scuffs and marks are noted in the brilliance of the fields, but this choice specimen also presents an alluring coppery tone to add further charm and appeal.
