Hartill-22.703. Weight: 64.2 gms. Er bao, seven stroke bei. "Xian Feng zhong bao"; Reverse: "Dang wushi". This nicely preserved survivor of the type exhibits well-formed calligraphy, primarily intact natural rough surface texture and lovely rich mottled brassy patina with minor earthen deposits offering much originality and a pleasing appearance. A small area of the reverse rim near the character "Dang" appears to be a bit irregular mentioned purely for the sake of accuracy. The highest points display much evidence of the finishing process with many parallel striations as a result of filing to even out the devices.
Estimate: $400.00- $600.00
