(t) CHINA. Qing Dynasty. 100 Cash, ND (ca. March 1854-July 1855). Board of Revenue Mint, northern branch. Emperor Wen Zong (Xian Feng). Certified "Authentic" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
Hartill-22.711. Weight: 46.6 gms. Fou bao, protruding head boo. "Xian Feng yuan bao"; Reverse: "Dang bai". This charming example of the type displaying lovely rich chocolate brown patina with minor red earthen deposits amongst the devices adding to its originality. The rims have several large edge bumps and slight bowing mentioned for accuracy. The characters are all well-formed and bold with good definition with much of the original rough surface texture still intact adding to it desirability.
