Hartill-22.931; FD-2506; S-1590. Weight: 43.5 gms. Broad rims. "Xian Feng zhong bao"; Reverse: "Dang wushi". This handsome and charming example displays attractive mottled light brassy patina with areas of richer coloration in the fields and atop of the devices complemented by minor earthen deposits accentuating the high relief calligraphy. The rims display much evidence of the finishing process with small edge bruises and nicks hardly worth mentioning, but does add character to this large cast issue sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
