(t) CHINA. Qing Dynasty. Shaanxi. 100 Cash, ND (ca. 1854-55). Xi'an Mint. Emperor Wen Zong (Xian Feng). Certified "82" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
Hartill-22.959; FD-2500. Weight: 71.3 gms. Large size. Seven stroke bei. "Xian Feng yuan bao"; Reverse: "Dang bai". This charming, yet somewhat crude large size denomination exhibits bold high relief calligraphy, naturally rough surface texture and minor earthen deposits, displaying attractive mottled brassy patina with richer coloration in the open areas. The rims are intact save for a couple of insignificant bumps and bruises adding character to the massive cast issue. This moderately handled pleasing to the eye survivor offers much originality sure to catch the attention of many collectors.

Estimate: $700.00- $900.00
