An excellent Diquis jar from Panama, ca. 1000 - 1500 A.D. This beautiful Boruca ware globular example is 4-1/2? in diameter and is decorated with alligator motifs executed in black over cream slip. Intact, with strong paint, good mineral deposits and root marks.
