Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly left, wearing ampyx [inscribed ΓEY], earring, garment clasp on her right shoulder, and necklace; [tiny IA above head] / Horse standing right, trailing rein, preparing to lie down; AI below belly. L-S Group 3, Head Type 14, dies O31/R2, a = Lorber, Early 17.2(a) (this coin); BCD Thessaly II 205 (same obv. die); HGC 4, 434. Toned, scattered marks, slight die rust on obverse. VF. Rare.
