Andronicus II Palaeologus, with Michael IX. 1282-1328. Æ Trachy (20mm, 3.91 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Struck 1294-1320. Facing bust of Virgin Mary, orans, wearing tunic and maphorion / Facing, half-length busts of Andronicus and Michael, holding long cross between them. DOC 600; PCPC 149; LPC p. 76, 17; SB 2417. Dark green-brown patina, roughness, a couple of light deposits. VF. Well-struck for issue. Rare.
