ROMAN. Gold plated silver votive statue. 2nd-3rd centuries AD. (7cm). Nude Capitoline Aphrodite with hair up in bun. She stands with right hand outstretched, her left covering her genitals. Details are simple but present. Broken at feet, exposing the silver inside. A very fine example.
