SASANIAN KINGS. Yazdgard I. AD. 399-420. PB (Lead) Unit (3.40 gm; 16 mm). obverse: bust turning right with letters in front of the face, letters in front of face most likely "MRWN", (Marv). Reverse: Standard with fire altar and attendants. No crescent or dots or mint mark on the reverse. Simplicity of the portrait and the reverse points toward early issues. Lovely strike on anice broad flan. Choice Good VF / EF. Extremely Rare.
