Louis XV gold Louis d'Or Mirliton 1724-I MS64 NGC, Limoges mint, KM470.9, Gad-339 (R2). Large palms variety. Light adjustment marks on both sides, with full, bright mint luster and numerous die striations, as made. Exceptionally rare in this condition, and far finer than the example in Part XIII of the Ford collection. Sold with old collector envelope detailing provenance.
