Louis XV gold Louis d'Or Mirliton 1724-K UNC Details (Saltwater Damage) NGC, Bordeaux mint, KM470.10, Gad-339. Large palms variety. Light porosity, with a noticeable flan flaw on the reverse and light handling marks. Likely from the 1725 Le Chameau shipwreck, though we have no documentation to support this. Sold with old collector envelope detailing provenance.
